Sumgait Technologies Park will export cable to Tajikistan

“Sumgait Technologies Park” LLC and Tajikistan's “Tacikgidroelektromontazh” OJSC signed a contract for the sale of large-capacity cable. Under the terms of the initial agreement, the largest and hi-tech cable plant in the region, which is part of the technopark, will export low, medium and high voltage power cables to be used by the customer in the “Construction and reconstruction of the Ravshan substation” project in Tajikistan until June of this year.

The entity and other party started negotiations regarding participation in ”Construction and reconstruction of the Ravshan substation” project, funded by the Islamic Development Bank last year. STP, competing with Russian and Turkish companies, left them behind with the quality of its products and its prices, and signed a two-year contract with the customer. The rebuilt substation will be fully supplied with the products of the STP Cable Plant. In March, the first batch of orders will be delivered to the customer.

It should be noted that at the STP's Cabel plant, 28000 kinds of medium, high and extreme high-voltage power cables (up to 500 kV), stationary and non-stationary, control, XLPE, coaxial, ship, various optical telephone, LAN, high temperature resistant, tin-covered grounding cables are manufactured and offered to customers. The products produced by the plant based on high technology are competitive and are widely distributed both locally and abroad.
