By production of the highly efficient solar collectors Sumgait Technologies Park contributes to the greener future of the Azerbaijan, where sun energy is utilized to heat up the water using enhanced materials and technologies.

We mostly source our manufacturing equipment such as automated, computer - controlled tools and machines from the most prominent worldwide suppliers- Germany, Turkey and South Korea. Depending on weather conditions the solar collectors are capable of heating 100 liters of water up to 40-80°C per hour. Our products were demonstrated in various international exhibitions, as well as during “Azerbaijani Days” in Uzbekistan. Production of photovoltaic panels is intended for future.

Due to the geographical location of the country, there is an abundance of the sun energy which must be utilized in order to mitigate the impact to the environment.

Materials that are being used in the production process like copper pipes, selective copper absorber, tempered glasses, aluminum profiles mostly supplied from Germany and Turkey. This enhances performance and increases productivity of collectors.

Welded Collectors

Parts of the collector

  • 1. Lower layer, in order to keep the heat, with the thickness of 0.5 mm
  • 2. Frame, electrostatic powder-coated aluminum, protects panel from strokes
  • 3. Isolation, prevents heat loss from the back side of panel
  • 4. Frame isolation, prevents heat loss from the back side of frame
  • 5. Absorber, transforms solar energy into heat energy
  • 6. Rubber throat, prevents heat loss from the sun collector, and protects the collector from water leakage
  • 7. Glass rubber, protects collector from water leakage and heat loss by placing it to the frame of the glass
  • 8. Glass - receives sun beam and protects panel from strokes
  • 9. Glass pack, for fixing the glass into frame
  • 10. Collector pipe, for transferring of heat from the panel

Panels are produced using ultrasonic welding method for copper frames. Lower part of the panels are protected by 0.5 mm thick aluminum sheets and insulated with the glass wool. As a result, freezing risks avoided.

The upper part is covered with tempered prismatic glass. Therefore, the perpendicular, ultraviolet, infrared sun rays is collected in the collector.
