The Ismayilli Bicycle Plant was commissioned on August 10, 2016. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the plant. The plant mainly focuses on the production of bicycles and wheelchairs. It currently employs about 100 people. The plant has a total production area of 2200 square meters.
Parts used in production are imported from Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and Germany. Parts produced by the companies SHIMANO, JOYTECH, Scwalbe, Continental and SUNTOUR have become an integral part of the ISMA bicycles.
Sumgait Technologies Park LLC actively participated in the construction of the Ismayilli Bicycle Plant. The technopark provided 350 tons of metal structures, 80,000 square meters of sandwich panels and other products during the construction of the plant.
