The international project SOCAR Polymer is the first project of this type and scale in the petrochemical industry of Azerbaijan for the last 40 years.
SOCAR Polymer was established on July 16, 2016 to strengthen the chemical industry of Azerbaijan. The company’s production facilities have equipment producing polypropylene and high-density polyethylene. These machines are currently being installed on the site of the Sumgait Chemical Industry Park. The enterprise will be put into operation in 2018.
Sumgait Technologies Park LLC supplied the plant, which was built at the request of Ustay Company, with 5,000 tons of metal structures, hot galvanizing, sandwich panels and various kinds of cables and products.
