Sumgait Technologies Park has achieved another success
Sumgait Technologies Park (STP) LLC, one of the largest industrial entities in the region, has added another success to its track record.
Stand of STP stand at the 25th Anniversary International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition, which is going on from May 29, was awarded the "Most creative stand" by the organizers.
Continuously taking part in the exhibition since 2011 Sumgait Technologies Park demonstrated its innovative products and services to the oil and gas sector this year.
It should be noted that stand of STP aroused great interest at the exhibition. In particular, representatives of the company provided the participants with detailed information about the products and services provided in the oil and gas industry, success achieved, the role of the entity in domestic and international projects.
This international exhibition, which is the most important event in the energy sector in the Caspian region, was favorable for STP in terms of establishment of reliable business relationships and discussing opportunities for new cooperation.
The Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition, which hosts 312 oil and gas companies from 38 countries, ends today.
It should also be mentioned that the Ministry of Economy organized the first export mission of the year to promote the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand in Astrakhan region, Russia.
Representatives of 30 local companies selected on a competition basis participated in the export mission. STP was one of the companies representing our country at the international exhibition.
Information on products manufactured for the oil and gas sector, telecommunications, construction, energy and agriculture were widely covered at the exhibition.
The offered products include medium and high voltage cables, polymer products, sandwich panels, PVC boards and others.
Within the framework of the mission bilateral meetings were organized and discussions on expansion of economic and trade relations were held between STP and Russian companies.
It bears reminding that Sumgait Technologies Park was put into operation on December 22, 2009. Being a pioneer in the creation of technoparks in the region, STP is a complex of large-scale plants specialized in various manufacturing areas. In 2017, it received a status of a resident of Sumgait Chemical Industry Park. STP, a unique project in the region, fully meets the demand of the domestic market and is capable of exporting sufficient volume of products to the foreign market. Currently, the company incorporates 12 plants and more than 30 manufacturing areas equipped with state-of-the-art technological equipment manufactured in Europe and Japan, where 2000 people work. The raw materials used in the production process fully meet international standards. All plants of the technopark have been provided with European-manufactured laboratories and accredited in accordance with the AZS ISO/IEC 17025-2009 standards. All manufactured products have relevant certificates. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 international standards are also applied at STP.
